I make software more accessible
I help teams make their software easier to use. I can work directly in the codebase to fix accessibility issues, with particular experience in screen readers, keyboard navigation, and complex interactions.
I'm Bruno Prieto, a blind software engineer based in Madrid. I've worked on accessibility improvements for Basecamp 5 and Hello Weather, and previously worked at 37signals. I wrote the Rails Accessibility Guide for the Rails Foundation and spoke at Rails World 2024. My background is in Rails and Hotwire, but I work across different kinds of software.
